What is a Personal Chef?
A Personal Chef typically has several clients a week (one per day) and prepares multiple meals in the client's home. Each menu prepared is tailored to each individual client's tastes and nutritional requirements.
Where would my meals be prepared?
All food is prepared in the safety of your own kitchen at a time that is convenient for you. On your cook date, I arrive with fresh ingredients, utensils, pans, what ever I need to complete your service.
How long will you be in my home?
Preparation of 5 entrees and appropriate side dishes can take 5-8 hours. I will require time to unpack, cook, cool, package and clean up. Although it is difficult to say exactly how long I will be using your kitchen, I am flexible and will ensure our cook date is compatible with your schedule.
I would like to use your service, but I don't want my meals prepared in my home? Can you prepare my service to be delivered?
Yes, delivery service can be established for you. Hey Chef! has access to a commercial kitchen where many of our client's meals are prepared then delivered to their homes.
How will my entrees be stored?
Entrees and side dishes are placed in 24 oz. and 12 oz. VERSAtainer containers idea for use in the microwave, for oven use, tin 12 oz. and 24 oz. containers are used.
How soon can I start my service?
Hey Chef! makes every attempt to start new client service(s) within one week of our in-depth interview.
How are my family's meals planned?
During your in-depth interview, the client is asked to complete a detailed questionnaire. After the questionnaire is completed, we discuss any dietary requirements and goals, likes and dislikes.
Can I easily heat my entrees and side dishes?
Yes, Hey Chef! leaves you customized menu and reheating instructions.
How often will I need your service?
Normally services are scheduled every two weeks. However Hey Chef! offers a personal service. After your first cook date, together we determine how often your family expects use our services.
