Discussion Topics
We are meeting to determine the amount of interest in our Chapter hosting the 2007 National Conference.  Listed below are the tasks needed to be performed by the end of May 2006.

Locating Host Hotel: Must be able to accomodate 300+ people with rooms, conference/class rooms, ball room, dining room(s) and possible catering.

Obtain, Volunteers and Guest/Keynote speakers:  Secure volunteers for tasks throughout the three-four days of the conference, keynote speakers.

Obtain Vendors:  Secure vendors who believe PCs would be a great source of income for their company.

Evening Gala: Create theme, secure entertainment/acts, decorations, arrange for setup & clean up.

CPC Day (Activities for Certified Personal Chefs): Create theme, locate dinner restuarant(s), tours, secure celebrity chef demo.

Registration Sign In, Conference Note Book and Gift Bag: Locate vendor(s) who want to sponsor/provide tote bags, vendors who will provide literature/giveaways to place in tote bags, create note book to give to each registered chef.  Put together team to assemble Note book  and Gift bag.

Chef Classes: Create classes/handouts for the Chefs to participate during conference.

Chef/Family Activities:  Create a list of events family members "non chefs" will enjoy during conference.  We must have kid friendly as well as evening adult fun.  This committee is also responsible for the logistics of transporting to and from host hotel, and possibly tickets (add-on)*.

Meals (Locating possible sponsor): obtaining cater, create menus: If possible locate 1-3 vendors who will  sponsor "pay" for chefs luncheon.  Determine the menu for each meal, decorations for room and tables.

Sponsors: This committee is primarly responsible for securing sponsors for our event.  The could pay for bags, printing, lunch, etc.

Chapter Cookbook: This is something we could create and sell to the chefs during the conference.  This committe would also be responsible for gathering recipes, the compsistion of the book, creating sales plan for selling "as many" books as possible.
